Biography: Paul S. Maxwell Chairman & CEO, MEDIA BUSINESS CORP Founder/Columnist, CableFAX Daily • CEO of MEDIA BUSINESS CORP which publishes, skyreport.com, skyretailer.com, The BRIDGE suite and ancillary periodicals as well as provides research and database services. • Columnist for CableFAX Daily, which Maxwell founded in 1989, the first daily, facsimile-distributed, advertising-supported newsletter, and CableWORLD magazine. • Previously: Maxwell has started and/or run some 40+ publications ranging from CATV Newsweekly to Colorado Magazine to CableVision and Multichannel News. A successful popular song lyricist writing and performing in the early to mid-Sixties, Maxwell also served as an Army officer working as a combat correspondent for Stars & Stripes and as a combat historian during two tours in Southeast Asia. • Professional Associations: Founding Board Member of The Walter Kaitz Foundation; honorary board member of Cable Positive; founding member of C-TAM; Cable TV Pioneer (1990) and Member of the Pioneer Board; and a Board member of the Cable Center. • Professional Accomplishments: In addition to his integral role in forming industry publications and associations, Maxwell is a decorated former Army Captain (Bronze Star with "V" for Valor; Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster). Recipient of the R. E. "Ted" Turner Innovator of the Year Award by the Southern Cable TV Association (1998), winner of the Vanguard Award for Associates & Affiliates by the National Cable Television Association (2000). And he is a member of the Cable TV Hall of Fame (inducted in '04). Maxwell routinely speaks at industry events and is a member of a number of boards. • Education: Studied theology at Southern Methodist University and Perkins Theological Seminary; studied journalism at the University of Colorado Graduate School of Journalism while learning to ski. Maxwell lives in Breckenridge with his wife, the former Evie Haskell. Maxwell is an accomplished skier, lousy tennis player and avid sea kayaker.

Robert graduated with an MBA in International Business from Franklin College, a leading American university in Lugano, Switzerland. He's now located in Ljubljana, Slovenia with his wife Alesa and daughters Mia and Siena.

Evie Haskell is editor-in-chief. In this position, she oversees the development, editorial and production of all MediaBiz publications. The current list of publications includes:
• SkyREPORT.com, the leading commercial satellite industry publication in the U.S, published via email daily.
• The BRIDGE: A weekly pdf publication providing in-depth research on reporting on key trends impacting multiplatform industries, including cable, satellite, telcos and more.
• The Morning BRIDGE: A a.m-delivered wrap-up of early-breaking news in the multiplatform industries.
• The Evening BRIDGE: An “after the Bell” market wrap-up of financial news and trends impacting multiplatform industries.
Prior to joining MediaBiz, Ms. Haskell headed her own consulting firm, producing in-depth reports for communications firms and energy companies.
Ms. Haskell received her masters in journalism degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. She lives in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Pinna Gallant

As Vice President of Product Marketing Pinna Gallant combines 12 years of experience from the Cable and Satellite Television Industries and the Reporting & Analysis Software Industry. She initially spent six years with MediaBiz building and launching market research products such as Effective Competition Tracking Reports, which was the first product to track digital broadcast subscriber counts by ZIP Code for the leading companies in cable as well as the FCC. Ms. Gallant left MediaBiz and moved to Paris to join Business Objects, a leading software company producing enterprise reporting and analysis tools. Upon returning to the United States, she joined ADP to develop reporting tools to support key clients with in-depth analysis of their business data. Ms. Gallant has returned to MediaBiz to leverage knowledge of data analysis and the cable and satellite industries to oversee the development, deployment, and customer support of competitive intelligence products that support strategic and tactical local decision making in the rapidly shifting telecommunications and media landscape.

Ryan is a software architect and database administrator of enterprise level databases and web enabled systems. He has worked with several Fortune 500 companies including SBC, Quaker, Abbott Labs and RR Donnelley & Sons. Ryan is constantly focused on the speed and efficiency of his systems with accomplishments that include building the core systems for the 1300'th highest trafficked site in the world and an email distribution system capable of sending 60 million emails hourly. Cody Maxwell

Cody works as the Senior Director of Media, she currently writes for all the publications, including a regular column in The Morning BRIDGE, deigns all of the in house ads, handles viral marketing, ad trafficking, and an array of other tasks . A recent graduate of the University of Denver with a BA in Communications, Cody Joined Media Business Corp full time at the start of the year. She's done a number of internships with multiplatform companies including ESPN, MTV UK, and NBC.
